A las ruinas de Choquequirao

Día 1: bus to the picturesque town of Cachora, at 3200 m.a.s.l., in Abancay. Stay in a small cheap hotel.

Día 2: Walk for 6 hours to the shores of the River Apurimac to 1500 m.a.s.l., 17 km. Camp next to the ruins.

Día 3: Walk to the ruins up to 3,000 m.a.s.l., approximately 7 hours of walking or 5 hours on horseback, camp in the ruins

Día 4: Visit the ruins in the morning and return to the campsite of Chiquiska, walk of 5 hours.

Día 5: From Chiquiska to Cachora 17km 6 hours; have lunch at the cheap hotel and return to Cusco in private bus.

From the Ruins of Choquequira to the Ruins of Macchupicchu from 10 to 12 days.

To the Ruins of Choquequirao is the same as the previous program:
To Machupicchu is a further 20 km. Each day is spectacular with ascents and descents of a hard grade of difficulty that makes this route one big adventure.
We pass through 2 unique towns.
This trip is made with 2 mules per person and a muleteer for every 2 animals.
